Perhaps my favourite feature in any Warband mod is Perisno's ability to outfit custom mercenaries from the Mercenary Guild location on the world map (some searching indicates not everyone knows about this - hire them from the dude on the 3rd floor inside the keep). Hero Adventurers are better in field battles than mounted knights until you spend a lot of prestige upgrading the knights. And of course, mounted knights couldn't compare to Hero Adventurers in siege battles since they mostly lack ranged weapons. Yeah, at like 200 denars a pop per month. Taverns in major towns is a great place to find new companions, ransom prisoners, or hire mercenaries. I’ve been playing Mount & Blade II since it was released 2 years ago in early access, and there are two important observations about the development process of the game that I need to mention before reviewing it. First, is that during the Say, you wanted an army of soldiers that wouldn't get penalty on morale for being at war with their faction(at least as far as I understand it). Probably because you want to be a high-renown band of mercenaries, roaming the land, unbound to anything other than money. Or maybe you want to start your own kingdom. What would be the advantages and disadvantages of having a fully mercenary/non The Vanilla Mercenaries are OUT of the game, leaving you only Caravan Guards besides Elites, so no more sword sisters etc., making it easier to recruit elites. Armor editing (stats) has been done and unique crafted weapons āš”ļø added for some of these Mercs. - Not Recommended if using RBM Mod. Mod Features (WIP) : - New campaign map. - New factions. - Troops and fighting tactics specific to each culture. - New "Main" quests (WIP) - New way to recruit and upgrade your troops. - More difficult to establish your own kingdom. - Ability to join any battle at any side. - Big change in the mechanisms of freed prisoners. K0az. 2. How do I recruit soldiers in Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord? You can recruit soldiers in several ways in Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord. You can hire mercenaries from taverns or recruit soldiers from villages that are friendly to your faction. You can also recruit prisoners of war after battles or convince enemy soldiers to join your cause. Yeah I went for more infantry and the macemen have been getting wiped ā€œsucks because the look decentā€ so I started supplementing some with minor faction troops like Skolder veterans which have been much better and the are technically mercs so I’m allowing it outriders have been a great asset I have a tiny amount of sword sisters just for diversity and using Vlandian caravan guard for cav. Charm, the skill to persuade by coin. Find the clan leader, tell him bull and then pay him to join. Last edited by The Shadow ; Apr 12, 2020 @ 3 Its based on your influence score. Go around and beat up some looters, donate them to an allied settlement. You'll get your pay as it goes down, though depending on how well the faction is doing, it can be abysmal, to lucrative. I wonder why in videogames, when it's you hiring mercenaries, they are always expensive. Custom Mercenaries. The Custom Mercenaries are mercenary troops that can be hired from Ingvar in the Mercenary Guild. They are hired as Hired Recruits, and can be upgraded like normal troops along their troop tree. Their unique feature is that, while their stats are set, they can be outfitted in a variety of weapons, armour, and horses, as long
