Solution. #12. possibly yes. but the fans will have 2 cables 1 is for 12v or 5v fan the other is for 5v argb if the 5v is broken on one of the fans then the fan will work but not the argb and there is a on/off button on the remote so if you turned it off then the remote battery broke from magnets which is unlikely but I have an MSI B350m gaming pro motherboard with the ryzen 7 2700 and I purchased the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8gb 2666mhz Ram to replace my old ram that I had. My old ram has the same specs as the Corsair ram I purchased; DDR4, 2x8gb, 2666mhz. The Corsair ram worked for a day and then my games started crashing and I was getting memory errors. I am building a new computer and have just bought a MSI Z390M Gaming Edge AC motherboard. My objective is to sync motherboard rgb, memory rgb, graphics card rgb (not sure if possible), and rgb fans (up to 5 of them) in the cleanest way possible. I may very well choose Corsair rgb fans and I am completely new to rgb. I am using the RGB fan that came with my Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition CPU cooler. The cooler comes with a simple RGB LED Controller that can be used to change the colors and lighting effects, but I would like to be able to control the RGB lights through MSI’s Mystic Light Sync software so I can sync the lighting effects with my other RGB components. 3) Ensure iCUE has the latest firmware update ALWAYS and make it boot on start-up. If you're still having further problems in iCUE go on the click the RAM > device settings > check for updates (update or) > three dots > force update. Force updating always solves the issue for me. Solution. #2. Two different types of memory sticks? Does the full memory show up in the BIOS/the operating system you are using? It could be that because there are two different manufacturers/models inside, that one isn't going to work, and the Viper is the one that isn't going to work with the G-skill. 0. wNTN. Alas, no, the RGB settings now do not work at all. No matter what option I choose and then click Apply, nothing happens to the LED strip - it just stays red. I've tried restarting, I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Dragon Center, I've tried uninstalling DC and installing Mystic Light 3.0 instead. 29. May 2, 2022. #1. It looks like ICUE 4.23.137 supports MSI motherboards which is great since it's the only RGB software that sees my ASUS Strix 3060 in addition to Corsair RAM and MSI motherboard. My problem is the ICUE MSI Motherboard plugin times out after a few minutes and ceases to update color changes or take RGB configuration changes. G.Skill says that with regards to software, compatibility changes with each motherboard and chip set, so make sure you have the latest BIOS for all the latest updates. G.Skill is working with all motherboard companies with RGB lighting control to perfect compatibility. All is working fine but I lost all RGB light on fans through the motherboard JARGB_V2 LED Connectors. I did reflash the led firmware with not success, I clear CMOS and all default in BIOS, no success. When doing a cold boot a flash of light (half second) come on on the RGB fans then nothing. all fans speed are working perfectly. This is a software issue. I have 2 AIO Units for Ryzen Threadripper and TR Pro CPUs, the software DID work initially but then stopped. If I uninstall it and then reinstall, sometimes that fixes the problem but for the most part it goes back to not working properly. The controller issue not able to be detected has been this way for YEARS. YEARS!!!
